The National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) will be handing out S$8 million worth of Public Transport, Utility and Back to School (for buying textbooks, shoes, uniforms & etc) vouchers to help lower-income union members cope with the rising cost of living in Singapore.

Who is Eligible?

1) Total household income is S$1,800 or less; OR
2) Average income per family (total household income divided by all family members) is S$500 or less

What Each Eligible Family Will Get?

1) Either a S$40 Public Transport or Utility Voucher; AND
2) A S$125 Back to School voucher for every child who is attending school

Application starts from 3 to 16 Nov 2008.
