Currently, Singapore Airlines charges a single fuel surcharge across all cabin classes. Citing reasons like space and weight used by each cabin class is different as well as current continued drop in jet fuel prices, SIA has decided to implement different fuel surcharge for each cabin class from this Friday (7 Nov) onwards.
Basically, First Class will pay existing fuel surcharge while Business and Economy Classes will enjoy a reduction of fuel surcharge from between US$8 to US$15 depending on the destination and cabin class.
