SingTel Offers Location Tracking of Your Loved Ones

November 27th, 2008 · No Comments

SingTel’s customers can now enjoy the absence of anxiety or mental stress by using its permission-based location tracking service to find out where their loved ones – elderly parents and young children are. To see the vicinity of where the customers’ loved ones are located, they simply need to dial *3463 (*FIND) on their WAP-enabled mobile phones and a map will be shown to them.

SingTel customers can find out the location of 3 SingTel postpaid mobile phone numbers. Owners of these mobile phone numbers will be sent a notification to seek their consent to be located. They can reject and opt out anytime by dialling *3463 (*FIND). In addition, a monthly reminder will be sent to remind owners who have consented, that they are on the Locator list.

This service will cost S$5.35 (with GST) per month.
