Exclusive to M1 customers in Singapore, Lonely Planet’s mobile internet site (m-site) is now available through M1’s mobile portal, MiWorld Mobile. Destination information on Lonely Planet m-site is available for Africa, Asia, Australia, the Caribbean, Central America, Europe, the Middle East, North America and South America.

The main feature of the Lonely Planet m-site is a “What’s Around Me?” function that allows M1 customers to choose their existing or intended location and immediately receive Lonely Planet’s recommendations for the closest restaurants, nightlife venues, hotels, shops and sights on their mobile phone.

Normal data charges of S$0.0107/kb apply for browsing the Lonely Planet m-site on MiWorld Mobile in Singapore.
