The Singapore Transport Minister, Mr Raymond Lim, has disclosed that the annual quota of Certificates of Entitlement (COEs) for Quota Year 2009 (May 2009 to April 2010) will be 83,789. This is a substantial drop in number of COEs offered as compared to last year.

Depressing to see that even ‘journalists’ don’t use proper English. This headline should be either “Smaller Number of COEs Will Be Offered” or “Less COEs Will Be Offered”
