The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) is dishing out S$200 million in total for 2009 to assist airlines as well airport partners ride through the current tough times. This includes a S$63 million relief package composing of rental rebates (S$43 million) and a recently created ‘Promotions Development Fund‘ (S$20 million) for retail, food & beverage and services concessionaires at Changi Airport, and a separate S$7 million in rental rebates for other airport partners.
These are on top of the S$130 million Air Hub Development Fund (offered to airlines and airport partners) that CAAS has previously announced.
