Starting from 1 July 2009, Changi Airport (which is at present run by CAAS – Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore) will be corporatized and the current CAAS will be reorganized to concentrate on strategic and regulatory activities. The existing Authority will end its term on 1 July 2009 and will be taken over by a new Authority.
