Singapore has declared 82 new cases of H1N1 flu (swine flu) on 1 July 2009. This brings the total number of people infected in Singapore to 783. So far, most cases of the virus are mild and self-limiting. To date, 300 patients have fully recovered and the remaining ones are recuperating.
