A new airport company – Changi Airport Group (S) Pte Ltd – has been established to take care of Changi Airport and promote it as a global air hub. Changi Airport Group will be in charge of the airport operations and engage in operational functions concentrating on airport operations and management, commercial activities and airport emergency services. It will also take up investment in foreign airports through its subsidiary, Changi Airports International.
The Board of Directors for Changi Airport Group has been chosen. The appointments have taken effect since 1 July 2009.
