The new Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) and Changi Airport Group commemorated their launch on 1 July 2009. The 2 bodies, established from the corporatisation of Changi’s airport operations and reorganization of CAAS, will work hand-in-hand to further promote Singapore as a well-known air hub and a global city. Minister Mentor Mr Lee Kuan Yew graced their launch at Changi Airport Terminal 3 and revealed the new logos of the two bodies.
