The National Heritage Board (NHB) carries on to advance Singapore’s arts and heritage area with the appointment of Mr Tan Boon Hui as Director of the Singapore Art Museum (SAM). He acquires the role from Mr Kwok Kian Chow as Director SAM with effect 1 August 2009.
