The upgraded Geylang Serai Market is scheduled to reopen progressively, beginning from 13 July 2009. This comes after a face-lift under the National Environment Agency’s (NEA) Hawker Centres Upgrading Programme (HUP), where it took 3 years and 4 months and cost S$18.2 million.
