Singapore has announced 106 new cases of H1N1 flu (swine flu) on 7 July 2009. This brings the total number of people infected in Singapore to 1217. Investigations are on-going for 77 cases. Of the 60 cases reviewed today, there were 52 local cases and 8 imported cases.

Singapore has announced 34 new cases of H1N1 flu (swine flu) on 4 July 2009. This brings the total number of people infected in Singapore to 1003. Investigations are on-going for 69 cases. Of the 62 cases reviewed today, there were 39 local cases and 23 imported cases. No new cluster was reported today.

Singapore has announced 91 new cases of H1N1 flu (swine flu) on 3 July 2009. This brings the total number of people infected in Singapore to 969. Investigations are on-going for the rest of the 97 cases. Of the 89 cases reviewed yesterday, there were 61 local cases and 28 imported cases.

Singapore Schools – No LOA Required from 6 July

With spread of H1N1 present locally, Singapore schools will no longer ask staff or students with travel history to take Leave of Absence (LOA) from 6 July 2009. The existing people on LOA will be notified that they can go back to school from next week.
